Highway Weather is the ultimate route planning tool that allows you to travel safely and with confidence. Highway Weather can provide you with the most accurate weather forecast for your location and entire trip if you have one ahead of you. In Highway Weather Road Trip Planner, we show you a weather forecast for your entire road trip. Plan your trip, add waypoints for your route on a map, and see what the weather forecast will be when you arrive. We show the weather forecast based on your journey length, which makes Highway Weather the most accurate weather forecast app for travellers. In Highway Weather Road Trip Planner, we not only provide you with information about road conditions but also have road conditions change alerts we get from publicly available services like 511, NOAA, NASA, weather forecast websites, public sources. # Does Highway Weather work in my area? Does MyWay Route Planner work in your country and town? Highway Weather uses the most up-to-date maps and weather forecast publicly available services like 511, NOAA, NASA, weather forecast websites, government sources, etc. Highway Weather works in many countries, but here's an overview of the countries where most of our users work and live: * USA * UK * Canada * Australia * New-Zealand * Brazil * Europe # What if the app is crashing If the app is freezing, crashing or not working, please try to delete and reinstall the app. When reinstalling the app, make sure you're logged in to the correct Google Account or Apple ID. When reinstalling the app on iPhone, you might need to [restore your purchase](/subscription-management/how-to-restore-your-purchase). {% hint style="warning" %} Please keep in mind that all routes and data will be deleted from your phone after deleting an application. We do not save any data to any external servers because we care about your privacy. {% endhint %} # Using Highway Weather without an internet connection (Offline Mode) Unfortunately, because of the nature of weather forecasts and sensitivity to forecast updates, our app cannot provide you any information about weather forecast or weather alerts in the absence of Internet connection. However, after the app downloaded data, you can continue using the app and get all information which was available at the moment of disconnect from the network. {% hint style="danger" %} Please keep in mind that application will not be able to receive any weather alerts without an Internet connection which might affect weather forecast availability and accuracy. {% endhint %} # How to restore your purchase? Learn about restoring your Highway Weather subscription You have an active subscription and paid the subscription fee this month. However, you can't access the full version of Highway Weather because the app asks you to start another free trial. #### **iOS (iPhone or iPad)** * In Highway Weather, click the gear icon on a top right side of the app, find "Restore Purchases" in Premium section and click on it. Wait for the app to restore your purchase. If the first option doesn't work, then: * Delete the app and reinstall to resolve the issue. Please be aware that it's not possible to share a subscription between Android and iOS. For example, If you started a subscription on Android, you won't be able to access the full version of Highway Weather on your iPhone, unless you start a separate subscription on iPhone (and pay for a subscription on both Android and iPhone). # Which payment methods are supported? Supported payment methods for Highway Weather subscription All purchases on iPhone or iPad go through the Apple Pay. #### **Apple** You can find more information about supported payment methods and information about [Apple Pay here](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201469).
# How to change or add a payment method? Follow these instructions to change or add a payment method on iOS You can change or add a payment method by following these instructions: #### **Apple** * On the Home screen, tap 'Settings' ⚙️ * Tap iTunes & App Store. * Tap your Apple ID. (You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.) * Tap View Apple ID. * Tap Payment Information. * Change your information and tap Done. # How to cancel your Highway Weather subscription? Learn about how to cancel your subscription on iPhone and iPad devices #### **During your trial** There are no charges during your trial. If you continue using the app after the trial period, you'll be automatically charged. To prevent charges when your trial ends, please cancel your subscription. Note that you have to use your mobile device in order to cancel your subscription. You can find the cancellation instructions below: ### **Cancelling on iPhone or iPad** * Click the app gear icon on the top right corner * Tap "Manage Subscription" button in Premium Section * Tap "Cancel Subscription" at the bottom of the page * Select the Highway Weather subscription (\*) * Tap 'Cancel Subscription' Alternatively, you can cancel your subscription from your Apple Settings * Open Apple Settings app * Make sure you're signed in with the correct Apple ID * Tap your name * Tap "Subscriptions" * Select the Highway Weather subscription (\*) * Tap 'Cancel Subscription' *\*If Highway Weather is not shown in your list of subscriptions, it means you don't have an active subscription for this account, and you won't be billed.* #### **After cancelling** If you're cancelling due to issues with Highway Weather, it'd be great if you could send us a quick message using the chat icon bottom right or clicking "Report a Problem" in the app menu. This way, we can keep on improving the app for other drivers. We will appreciate it a lot! # How can I get a refund? How to get a refund after cancelling the subscription or the free trial If you were charged after cancelling the subscription or forgot to cancel your free trial and have been charged, you might be eligible for a refund. You might be eligible for a refund if: 1. You did not refund an application subscription before (this should be your first application refund). 2. The time between the subscription charge date and your refund request date is no longer than seven (7) days. 3. You did not use application premium features between the subscription charge date and your refund request date. Please keep in mind **if you cancel a subscription and request a refund, you will not be able to use application premium features**. **Unfortunately, we can't issue refunds from our end**, but you can follow the instructions below to apply for a refund on Apple App store. #### **Apple App store** [Here are the instructions](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084) on how you can apply for a refund on the Apple app store. Apple will review each case individually. # Use Highway Weather on multiple devices It's possible to use Highway Weather on multiple devices. To set up a second device, you need to log in with the Apple ID or Google account you used to initially subscribe to Highway Weather. If you'd like to change your payment method or cancel the subscription later, you'll need to do that on the platform you've originally subscribed on (Android or iOS). # I've been double charged First of all. A double charge is not a common issue, but because of the nature of App Store and Google Play Store, it still might happen. The good news is it pretty easy to sort out. There are a few reasons you might see a double charge from Highway Weather: #### 1. Hold not properly handled by your bank If you've recently subscribed to Highway Weather, a double charge might be caused by a hold. Apple and Google place a hold on your account to see if there are sufficient funds. As soon as you finish your free trial and the first charge goes through, the hold is removed by Apple or Google. Unfortunately, some banks don't handle this properly. Instead, they show the hold as a charge and may take up to a month before showing the hold has been removed. If the hold isn't removed after 1 month, please let us know. #### 2. Your previous payment was late If you were late with paying your subscription fee last month, Apple or Google can charge you twice, for last month and this month. A double charge might also occur if your subscription was automatically cancelled because Apple/Google couldn't charge the payment, and now you've restarted the subscription. #### 3. Accidentally bought a subscription twice If you've accidentally bought a Highway Weather subscription twice on an Apple device, Apple will automatically refund the double charge. You can check [your Apple purchases here](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204088). If you've accidentally bought a subscription twice or started 2 free trials on Google play, [you can check that here](https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions). Please [cancel](https://help.getcircuit.com/article/44-cancel-your-subscription) one of them and [apply for a refund](https://help.getcircuit.com/article/63-refund). #### 4. Started a subscription on both Apple and Android You might have started a subscription on both an Apple and an Android device. You can [check that here for Apple](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204088) and [here for Android](https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions). Please [cancel](https://help.getcircuit.com/article/44-cancel-your-subscription) the account you don't want to use anymore and [apply for a refund here](https://help.getcircuit.com/article/63-refund). #### 5. Other If none of the above helps, you can also dispute all charges from Highway Weather to your bank. If you wait for 1 month, all charges from Highway Weather will be cancelled, and now you can safely start a new subscription. If that doesn't help either, please contact us and send us a screenshot of all charges, we will be able to assist you. # Highway Weather doesn't recognize my subscription MyWay asks to start the free trial but I already have a subscription It is an unlikely situation you might be shown a payment screen but already have an active subscription. If it's a case, we recommend you to close an app and reopen it again, make sure you have an internet connection and try to [restore your purchase](/subscription-management/how-to-restore-your-purchase). Do not worry if you paid by accident a second time. Apple App Store will handle this and you do not need to worry about anything.
